The music however is absolutely stunning, just, all of it.
And what the hell happened Triss' voice? After the first and second game, I was ready to go all the way with her in W3 but then she opens her mouth and I instantly legged it to Yen. I just don't think the sound should get instant critical praise. (the third sound effect there in that video is used for the dogs in the opening video of the original RE). Even the mythical creature like sirens do that exact same sound that Frank Welker did for Sharptooth in The Land Before Time movie, this one. So many times walking through villages in that game I hear a woman doing that DAMN cough stock sound effect I heard almost 20 years ago in Theme Hospital lol.Īnd that's not the only one, bear, dog, wolf sound effects are all basic stock sounds you hear on a Saturday morning cartoon or tv ad.
Music is great but the sounds leave A LOT to be desired.
